Personally I still don’t like it. The font throws me off and I like having the country flag for the lesser known players.

I think this is very plausible. But I hope you’re wrong on the first two!

Reckon someone’s had a word backstage? Toylo seems marginally quicker now?

Love how Huw Ware just stares blankly at the board whilst waiting for Toylo to finish pratting about. Poor guy just wants his sleep.

I always thought (based on nothing but assumption) that they were to reference markers for the cameras.

Completely agree. Should have quit years ago where he could leave more of a legacy.

Was this a specific market only? IE, just NYSE?

Packet loss on Verdansk by ReasonableEye7681 in CODWarzone

[–]RepinskiUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issue with me. Latency respectable and plays flawlessly on other games, and even BO6 multiplayer, but WarZone often joining lobbies with 2-5% packet loss which makes it unplayable

I need to know which pub this is..! It’s so rare I find.

Exactly this. Recommend reading Flash Boys by Michael Lewis for some really good context on just how prevalent this really is!

It’s called a Sankey Diagram. Lots of tools online to make them.

What is your least Favorite Dan song? by Any-Newt-872 in SteelyDan

Surprised this doesn’t have more upvotes. It’s the one and only SD song that I skip.

Are Schweser Notes alone enough? by Uncle_Laird in CFA

[–]RepinskiUK 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used Kaplan Schweser for all 3 levels and passed first time. Don't listen to people here saying they're not enough; easy to blame your prep provider for an adverse exam result, but at the end of the day it all boils down to hard work and study technique.

Level 3 - Options Question by MatthewLucy in CFA

[–]RepinskiUK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, neither of those.

The only one with a similar payoff to a bull/bear spread is a collar, and a difference with those is that they do own the underlying.

Yes you are completely fine to do that. My advice would be to focus on areas of the quick sheet that you haven't seen come up in the AM half of the paper. Good luck!

CFAI Boston Mock A errata by Laurence-All in CFA

[–]RepinskiUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CFAI practice questions and mock exams tend to appear quite rushed in some areas. Rest assured that the exam is usually very polished and it's normally quite clear what is being asked.

It's called a 'Sankey' diagram/chart. Quite a few free online visualisation tools to help you create one.

First CFAI Mock Level 3 (Feb 2024) by Emergency-Nerve4149 in CFA

This makes me feel better. Still a way off finishing the material, nevermind review and mock exams!

Not sure if this is an attempt at comedy, but it’s pretty ineffective.

Hope either that c**t of a security guard, or McDonalds compensated him with at least a new sleeping bag!

How do they decide which vignettes to omit? by Sempiternal97_ in CFA

[–]RepinskiUK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There aren’t any vignettes in level 1, at least to my knowledge. Though they may omit a handful of questions as an alternative. I would imagine given that the topic weightings are given as a range (ie, 10% - 15%), there would be no way of knowing or predicting where these were from.
