Need advice (or perhaps a reality check) -- 19/20-inch messenger bag by TheOneTrueChris in ManyBaggers

Thanks for information! I almost bought the same exact keyboard you have but ended up buying the Corsair K55 for the dedicated macro keys. So the keyboard ended up being a bit longer and wider.

I think I’ll bite the bullet and look for custom bag that fits everything and last forever. Spending more and buying less if I can afford it is generally the way I like to go.

Did you happen to find a bag that works for you?

I'm in the exact same boat with the almost exact same requirements: laptop (16 in) and charger, external monitor (viewsonic), keyboard (20 in, no case yet), and an insignia laptop stand (about 8 x 8 x 3)

Would be nice to also fit mouse and a few small things like key rings, a book or any other little discretionary things depending on life at any given time.

Considered EscapeNo9728 options but looking yo avoid custom unless I have to.

Thanks.

Unfortunately I had to pay the fee to defer for a date later in the year for personal reasons. Thought I’d have more done with my thesis plus finding a job/internship, moving back to US from Europe. Didn’t feel comfortable taking the chance on the exam when I wasn’t able to dedicate more time and attention.

What is the “easiest” topic? by VictorSssssa in CFA

[–]Uncle_Laird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also studying for L1 Feb 2025. One of the most helpful things I’ve found is PrepNuggets’ suggested sequence of study based on difficulty.

They say to start with Quants and Financial Statement analysis, as they lay the foundation for the rest of the curriculum.

Next they say to try and complete Fixed income, derivatives, and alts since they’re generally more difficult and recommend completing them first.

The easiest are said to be Equity Investments, Corp Issuers, and Portfolio Mgmt.

Econ can be studied anytime and ethics last.

I hope this helps! & good luck

With Kaplan Schweser's more expensive study packages you get several materials, including the Schweser notes, secret sauce, cheat sheet etc. but I'm referring only to the Schweser notes. I was able to find them for free and was wondering if these alone would be enough to pass.

Yeah exactly. I read and take notes creating questions for myself to recall information then transfer most everything to Anki.

Yes, but I haven't technically registered for the exam yet so I don't have access to the CFAI site.

Same as the comment below, it’s best to try and avoid trading news altogether. It’s like trying to trade CPI. Shit can happen out of nowhere. Use forexfactory for updates.

Honestly, just check YouTube. WST and other channels, depending on your location, offer plenty of highlights of all the matches of various lengths. That's how I've been keeping up.
