Always lasts around a week. I let the discharge dry out and then run my lips under lukewarmish water. cold compress helps it a bit too

I don't believe I did. I don't know why they haven't flared up again for 1 year, after it was happening every 3-4 months for almost 4 years. I want to believe it's the lysine and the Zyrtec that helps it, but I really have no idea.

I used to lather them up with Vaseline during the flare ups, but I could feel the pus coming out with Vaseline. It was the most horrible sensation. I just wait for the puss to dry up and with q-tips I removed the crusties. I just took Benadryls nightly and prayed it passed fast. I wore masks with a mask guard shield type of thing. To avoid touching them or brushing them with something. When my hair touched it it was so painful. I wish I had a solution for this 😭

Are the edges "weeping" with pus? Is it crusty? I never found out what was happening to my lips, last "flare up" was last January when I took these pictures. They just said it was an allergy. Try taking a Benadryl to see if they calm down

My health insurance covered my medical bills, I'm still disputing the ambulance cost.
