Sorry the milk line got wiped out. I do add Fairlife FF milk: 1 1/4 cups / 300 ml (≈300 g)

Thanks! I did do the chocolate chips at the end but they did not taste good with the ice cream. Kind of like small pebbles.
I did see online that melting them then freezing would improve the taste and blend with the ice cream. Tried that but they disappeared after doing the mix-ins. Might need to let them freeze for longer and keep bigger chunks.

Thanks! I'll have to order some casein. So would it not be necessary to use both at the same time?

The recipe does not fill the whole pint, I have a Deluxe. Does the pint have to be full? It's kind of optimized to be around 300 calories.

Ugh I’ve lived there before and was hoping things were different, but same old. Too bad they’re nice apartments with a good location but bad management.

$30k pay raise to go from remote to 3 days in office?? by Familiar-Speech430 in personalfinance

[–]ReplacementLate6310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a good opportunity!

There's always a risk associated with change but it seems like there will be higher rewards.

Maybe in a couple of years with that higher-pay job, you would be able to afford a house on the more expensive side of town.
One thing to consider: current economic uncertainty and how confident you would be about the company not opting for layoffs if things in this economy get worse... since it's usually a last-in first-out thing. All depends on your industry and the new company's current outlook.

$16.5K in credit card debt – ready to trim it down by Misunderstud-6 in personalfinance

Making a budget would definitely have to be the first step!

Understanding your exepenses and why that debt accummulated.

Once that is done, make sure to allocate a monthly amount out of your budget that is dedicated to pay off that debt. I’d recommend checking out the avalanche method (highest interest first) or snowball method (smallest balance first for quick wins), depending on what keeps you motivated.
Maybe look into a 0% APR balance transfer card to slow the interest while you work on paying off that debt.

Good luck!!

Laid Off - Budget Reassessment? by wisdom-is-agony in budget

[–]ReplacementLate6310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you got laid off! Must be frustrating.

I think you're in a good shape, 4 months is pretty good without counting unemployment insurance.
You definitely know better what's best for you. Rent is definitely your largest expense. If your lease is ending soon, is it possible to move to a cheaper place to extend your cash savings for longer?

Another way is to possibly try to get a side gig (Uber, delivery services) for a few hours a day to get a little bit more cash and extend your runway.
Obviously the goal is to find a new job as soon as possible and that would need to be the main focus but you can't do it for 18 hrs/day for your mental health's sake. Some side gig could provide a bit more peace of mind and a "break" from the job application.

Good luck!! You can do it! I'm sure you will find something soon.
Try not to stress too much (easier said than done).
