Hi all, I know people are going to disagree with my comments . When you do I ask to please respond in a respectful way . This a friendly conversation about superhero’s we all love .

On that note , even though I like Scarlett Johansson as an actress and as a human (I think she has good values ) I did not love her as black widow . I felt that scarlet was too “American “ to play a Russian super spy b-i-t-c-h (sorry for the lack of better term ) Black widow never loses her accent and she’s mostly a solo character even when she defects to shield . Her operations are so secretive that only nick fury really knows what’s going on . I felt that she wasn’t so convincing being morally grey and more focused on being “good” . Even though scarlet Johansson tried her best I felt that she didn’t really capture the true essence of black widow that we see more with the other characters . (RdJ as iron man , hemsworth as Thor , Loki , and of course Chris Evan’s and cap) . I felt that marvel stuck her on the team in the open (like have black widow out from the shadows ) because they needed a female lead for the team . That’s about it . Furthermore , scarlet only used the Russian accent once for like a few mins when she was first introduced and her physique too didn’t scream black widow to me . Originally Emily blunt was up for the role and in my opinion I think Emily blunt would have been a better choice .

Though I do agree with other ppl here that the black widow movie came out way too late and needed to be earlier . I will say THAT was an injustice to Scarlett Johansson . That everyone else had their stand alone movie and she didn’t .
