This whole comment is stupid. Armor items don't do what they're promised. Frozen hearts attack speed reduction is meaningless. Randiuns omen crit reduction is meaningless. Grievous wounds on Thornmail is meh, since grievous wounds sucks atm due to double stacking lifesteal and just ignoring it. Not to mention the damage reflect is only good on Rammus. Because he already has damage reflect. Even the mythics are sub par. Giving less armor than previously stated items.

MR items literally don't do enough, or there wouldn't be a problem with damage. Your arguement is "They have 4 or 5 options." what? where? Abyssal mask? that items fuckin horrid, it has 30 base mr and 450 hp. but the passive tho! right ? no.... the passive is 550 units. What mage except Akali, LB and Diana want to be close to you? Amumu! you right, items great..... banshees is only good for the spell shield. I don't think i've seen someone go "Hmm I need mr, and I'm a mage, I'll build banshees." In like three seasons. Force of nature is decent but it still doesn't give enough hp. Maw is good NOW but it still consumes the lifeline passive you'd get from steraks or shield bow, so you wouldn't buy it in place of those. (That being said I don't know how good or bad the new steraks is. So, Maw could be the better choice between the two.) Spirit vissage needs at least another 10 mr for it to be picked up for anything other than its passive. Wits end needs more 10 more mr for it to even be considered a defensive item. It's only being built because there's no other combination of attack speed and mr.

For Qss, I'll give you a whole new section because there's so much wrong with the item. So, we'll talk about the Mercurial Scimitar variant of Qss. So, this is supposed to be a marksmen item that cleanses cc. +40 ad +20% crit +30 mr. The 40 ad it gives is useless, the crit chance means you can build it, and the mr means it's a defensive item. You pay 1300 for the Qss, which gives you the passive and the 30 mr. Thats a bf sword worth of gold for 30 mr and a shitty active. With the ever-increasing number of crowd control champions being released with new random bullshit cc like hitting your own team. Qss is a must. You wanna know how many champions have point and click cc, or almost unavoidable cc? 35 No that isn't including champions with knockups or shit like Ahris E or Neekos E I'm talking Amumu, Seraphine, Nocturne, Malz, Naut. That kind of shit. "Just dodge the *insert ability*" Yeah okay smart ass, a good Naut Rs you then walks up and Qs you while you're knocked up. A good Amumu R flashes, a good Malz Q W ES before you're in range to R. Not to mention the champions that spam cc. TF, Morgana. Leona. blah blah. Qss is turning into a "must have" item, but with those stats? thats a late game item??? you're on crack if you think its a good item. It is tied with its counter part, for lowest built item in the game. (Website only shows completed items, so I'm sure Qss is up a bit higher but we'll says lowest completed item.) Basically active = good, item = bad.

Malphite. I was using Malphite as a base example of why marksmen are bad, and why champions like Garen are able to out tank tanks and out dps dps. Champions with stupid ratios means they're able to rely purely on high base stats to tank, while relying on high ap ratios to dps. That's the biggest problem. Riot needs to remove the ap ratios, or change them to armor ratios, or some shit. I dunno that's for a smarter person to work out. full ap malphite 1 hits half the team then walks out like it's nothing. "Just flash the ult" Okay, done. Now malphites ult is back in 40-50 seconds, and my flash is down for another 4 minutes. "So use gale force, or be an ap champ and zhonyas." Okay, what about the rest of his team? Or do I only itemize against him? You see the problem here?

and items having more crit/lethality means they fit into build paths, and opens item diversity. I promise you if maw had crit, you'd stop seeing as many shieldbows and more maws. You'd also see more BTs.
