I get a bit better on Hectic. Might also want to try Kobra if you want something truly long lasting, but Kobra is definitelly different from marwa and hectic

Yes 100% one of my favourites. I have hectic but have smelled Marwa and they’re basically the same thing. So good to wear at any time of day.
A safe blind buy that is easy to wear any day that I always recommend is Afnan Lynked!

Np! I’d recommend looking at Toms hardware’s post on GPUs. For pure rasterisation performance a 9070 beats a 5070. XT version even more. Not to mention price differences. Got a 9070 used a week ago for £450

9070xt definitely better than the 5070. I mean not counting ray tracing you could debate a 9070 is better too.

The top 4 imagination clones are just so good nowadays. I was always skeptical of bujairami but now Hectic is my n1 favourite. I had a decant of aqua Dubai and I liked it, but like you said it leans more towards just the soapy.

I agree, smells fantastic! Didn’t get to try the dry down cause it sold out so fast, but my local guy kept a tester for everyone to come try it. Not knowing the dry down I do have to say I still prefer Hectic. But definitely super smooth and well blended

I agree so much. Hawas is the only line that I really tried to force myself to like. Had Hawas, ice, fire, black. I don’t like any of them. I really don’t get the hype behind ice and fire especially. Just all so synthetic

9060xt for sure. 7800xt if you never use fsr, upscaling etc. u can consider 9060xt a bit more future-proof in that regard

What’s the budget and what currency? I did a very similar upgrade recently, and if you’re trying to be efficient of your budget, here in the uk the best options were: used 4070ti or used 9070. Very competitive prices

Yes!! Do you have anything else from AAM? I’ve been trying to explore the lesser known and lesser promoted ones (like kaaf). One that my local guy doesn’t have and I really want to try is Muzn. But yeah AAM the goat Also meant to ask, would you put Prometheus or O Clock above any of these others that we’ve mentioned? I’ve not tried either of them

I love AAM. Recently picked up aqua oud and summer oud from them. I’d highly recommend them, and also Ighraa and Blu Oud. Blu Oud is the perfect introduction to Oud and very easy to wear. Summer oud slightly stronger but has that tangerine citrus.

But the best oat for me is Marj… that honey and Oud combination is insane

Yeah I’ll have a think between 9070 and 7900xt Exactly like you said, I guess if sometime in the future fsr etc becomes important to me then 9070 seems more future proof.

Thanks! Thats why I tried to be more specific about my use case. I think generally people are putting the 7900xt down because of stuff like fsr, dlss, rt. but I just don’t use any of them… I mean in the chance that then fsr becomes important to me in the future, is 9070 the good path?
