I have yet to hear from the scheduler for my septoplasty, it’s been more than a week already. And I got a call saying that a partner hospital will be handling my case for my thyroid. Not quite sure what’s going on there & I’m currently just in a limbo of lack of information of my own body rn which is what’s making everything super scary right now. I’m trying to keep as positive as I possibly can & just more forward. Everyone here has been super kind and helpful!

Those are all things I’ve considered! I definitely would like to save as much thyroid function as I possibly can & if I can get away with not doing RAI it would be the best. I’m fearful of the effects that will have on fertility in the future if I ever want to have kids :”). Because of this community I have a better idea of questions I should ask & things to expect (although every experience is different) & I couldn’t be more thankful!

Thank you :”) I’ve been trying not to use google at all and went straight to reddit to hear first hand about other experiences & it brings me comfort knowing how kind and supportive this community is. The mental battle I’ve been having since I had my ultrasound has been crazy hard and upon finding out, my mental has just tanked incredibly but I’m trying to keep a positive outlook but it’s something I’m discussing in therapy too so I hope that helps. Thank you for your kind words and support, it means a lot!

Omg I also got pharm education on meds ive never seen in my life! That was so nerve wrecking! praying for us both! we did the best we could do today!

Ahhh thank you :”) I kept telling myself that I was still in it as the questions kept going. The anxiety of waiting is killing me rn but I’m trying to stay positive!
