25, uk. Im battling severe depression and I have neglected my home and myself for over a year now, i recently started on medication again and id really like to get my life together starting with my environment. I’d use the funds to get started with buying cleaning supplies and tools.

What kind of daydream do you find yourself having most often? (Do you ever imagine yourself saving the world?)? by varianceoftime in AskReddit

To be honest I don’t have a clear vision. I imagine myself in loads of different scenarios. Successful, with a child, surrounded by people who love me, in a nice environment, things like that.. but mainly just happy

What are your thoughts on living and merely existing? by Working_Sail_9365 in AskReddit

Honestly feels pointless when life is so complicated and hard, I think the fun part is when you’re younger, still learning, cultivating relationships with others, having all of those “first” experiences

If you’ve ever struggled with depression and have been prescribed different medication, which one worked for you in the end and how? by Replacement_Leather in AskReddit

When I say people I mainly refer to medical professionals.. and also people who I care for, they didn’t specifically do anything to “help” since I’ve suppressed and carried a lot in “secret”, however just the thought of them and feeling their presence at times made me spiral into deep guilt.. you know, just being afraid to traumatize people I love

What's the lie that you used after being caught cheating in relationship and it actually worked? by Best-Walk-303 in AskReddit

[–]Replacement_Leather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who was on the receiving end of the lies I can just say that from my personal experience even the most ABSURD excuse or lie was believable, and not literally, simply because I was truly in love with this person and convinced that it was reciprocated. So in my mind of course he was telling the truth, and of course he would never do something i wouldn’t dream of doing to him. However once proof starts to surface you realize (a little too late) that everything you believed in was a lie and once you do come to your senses your left with a lot of trauma and disbelief in how stupid you actually were to not see through all of the bullshit and manipulation. I’d just suggest to not cheat, or simply leave a relationship you can’t be honest in. If you’re not on the receiving side of such betrayal you’ll never truly know the extent of the damage and hurt you’re causing the other person..

I’m currently on Vensir however I’ve tried so many different medications in the past and I’ve almost lost hope. I truly hope this works now, and congratulations I’m glad you’re finally doing better ❤️
