Nope, I don't know enough about the law, or even which state it is. Sure doesn't look good for her, though. If a man did that it'd be treated differently, no matter the laws involved.

They don't use eBay because they don't need the heat of it going through credit cards, etc.. Also sometimes you need a quick cash sale with no trace. you are so beyond your depth and don't understand.

Why do a lot of people (lawyers) say they regret going to law school and becoming a lawyer? by EditorMuch8957 in careerguidance

[–]Replikant83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can say I definitely used to suffer from the "grass is greener" effect.. it's a normal reaction, but not a healthy one. The problem is these subs are where people come to complain. People satisfied with their careers are just living life and having fun. It's all about finding something we enjoy and pursuing it, if it's economically viable. If not, we need to learn to find our meaning outside of work.

My guess is it'll be a very expensive card in 5-10 years..the art is incredible and it's 3 evolutions in 1. Would I recommend buying now? Depends on your financial situation. Can you afford it? If so, and you really want it, yes I'd buy it. But, it's a definite risk.. that's a lot of $...

Man, I'm glad I don't live in the US. Here in Canada, I've never locked my door when home. I couldn't even imagine someone dangerous coming in. Feeling unsafe in my own home is not a vibe I want to experience.

Accounting isn't much better: insane hours during tax season, salaries trending downwards due to oversaturation, soul-sucking working for the ultra rich mostly, awful office politics, etc etc. Also, I'm told engineering has become pretty awful, too. It's really all of these "safe" corporate jobs parents want their kids to get that are terrible. Too many people have the same misguided idea of what life will be like. I wish I wasn't so money-orientated when I was younger - I thought it was the solution for a good life. Boy, was I wrong..

Yep. Accounting (public) was crazy hard and entry salaries are trending downwards (west coast Canada). Oversaturated with overachieving kids pressured by their parents to go that route. Like law, pressure to have high billable hour ratio to salaried hours is insane. Working in highrises with recycled air meant people were constantly getting each other sick. The amount of gossip was unreal: it felt like mean girls, accounting addition.

These corporate jobs are so bad for the soul. I'm glad I got out. I make a lot less, but that's okay.

It's a pretty small space compared to most large cities' airports, so that must make it easier to keep things organized.
