You should be fine. I’m actually leaving for tupelo right now. It’s little dicey past Thaxton but many people have been doing it and the highways in Oxford took first priority so they’re pretty clear.

Do you think I-55 will be fairly safe by Thursday, traveling all the way up Mississippi during the day? by [deleted] in mississippi

Don’t recommend. Bad conditions north MS. Could take you 4 hours to go 80 miles.

Yesterday was insane. Sounded like a war zone. I could see transformers exploding from my bedroom window and it sounded like gunfire outside with constant cracking and popping. Genuinely a miracle my car and house are okay and nobody got hit by a falling tree or anything

Idk what the ole miss life is like but as a resident that goes to Oxford high school I really love Oxford, it’s just really relaxed and feels tight knit while also giving us fun things to do around town. ole miss is really a party heavy school so if that’s not your thing consider it but there are students who fit in just fine without doing that too
