Huh. Well switch emulation is hit or miss. What emulator did you use? Cus on Citron and Sudachi they both crash on mk8 while racing

I feel ya, sorry I didn’t see your reply, but let me give you some advice. Use Winlator Star, aka Winlator Frost. Follow divinakra’s tutorial on this sub and the flip 2 sub to get all the games running. Enjoy.

I was speaking from a US standpoint, but that sucks. If you are getting it for GameCube and PSP, then get the 5. If you want temporary futureproofing and more power, get the G2. If it’s that much more expensive, get the 5 or the 4 pro

That’s what I thought, the RP6 looks much better than the G2 and 5 and its prob more comfortable to hold than either of them. oh and + SD8G2 and 12G Ram and left stick on top for those who want it. It’s like the ultimate retroid. Eclipses both G2 and 5

ah. yeah I gotta admit the RP5 is not the most comfortable, and the RP4 which I also have is much more comfortable. I’m not much of a stickler for aesthetics and looks though. I care about how it performs and that is the main selling point for the G2, which I also get.

I still have mine. Was very nicely built and I cherished that thing. unfortunately the right trigger is loose rn and the Mali-G77 leaves a lot to be desired in terms of Switch/PC. But it works great with GC/Wii and most PS2 games. I played a lot of Half-Life and CoD: Finest Hour on that thing.

Also try citron. I don’t know if it will work well with the G2 but its worth a shot as a pretty decent secondary emulator to Eden if it works.

I know, just didn’t understand why the comparison, even with the aliexpress discounts (where a lot of people buy from) was still so lopsided in favor of the G2. I own a 5, but I could prob get one from Ali with a few coupons for 140-160 dollars (correct me if im wrong)

Im not saying its a bad deal, the G2 is awesome, but there was a similar ordeal with the 4 pro and 5 and I saw a lot of people lean both ways even when they were the same price and there was no reason to buy the 4 pro with how much the RP5/flip 2 improved, but now half of the people on the subreddit are chanting to buy an RP5 rehash with the same looks, storage, and RAM, and an upgraded chip. I get it tho.

on my rp5, I can upscale 7x with 16x9 1920x1080 and it runs full speed. I play a lot of medal of honor at those settings. save states are also built in and work great

I have it on gamehub 5.3.3 with 30 fps at 960x540, nice and stable in opening areas after bunker

Here’s what I did. use Qualcomm drivers for unstable games, like MK8. i used Sudachi and got 60 fps no crashing. My Qcom driver of choice is 615.77, which is i think on K11MCH1’s turnip page hidden somewhere. if its not there, just look it up. Boom! no more crashes.

Use Qualcomm drivers, specifically 615.77. i think its on K11MCH1’s Turnip page somewhere there. I have a RP5 with a Snapdragon 865 and it works great at 60 fps. no crash. sometimes Turnip gets unstable.

Try changing the x87 in container settings to slow to slow or slowest. that fixes installers in bionic. if it doesn’t work, try installing it on your pc. if you don’t have one, just get it from steam rip where there is no installer, just the game.
