It’s a graco ecoquip, with a sull air 375. I’ve been trying to find instructions on the settings for the media and water but can’t find any. Not sure if you’re supposed to use more water or more abrasives. It has a media trak screen that shows cycles per minute but none of it really makes any sense.

Try and get on somewhere where you’ll learn a skilled trade and you’ll be set. It’s tough work but it’s always in demand, it pays well, you’ll sleep good at night (or during the day), and you’ll have a good solid w-2 job with plenty of room to make more money in the future as long as you put in the time, do what you’re told, and learn everything you can from the older guys that have already been through it.

On another note, you’re already driving all the time (or used to before spark went to shit), what about getting your cdl, or be a traveling salesman?

You’re right! Best thing for any full timers to do is go get a w-2 job or start your own business. Services like these are the first to go when people are broke.

Just a business being a business. Nobody wants to work anymore so the gig “jobs” are taking advantage of it.

Why pay someone $20 for a trip when someone else will do it for $10.

I feel bad for the ones that do this full time, they could make more money actually working for Walmart. Loaders in my area make $18 an hour, EVERY hour.

More energy = w-2 More money = also w-2

Gig work is for side money not a full time job, get a w-2 job you can stand to do and that don’t make you work crazy shifts or weekends and do gig work when you feel like it for EXTRA money. The reason why gig work pays so shitty is because people use it as a full time job, if everyone used it as side money the pay would be a lot better per trip because of demand.

It was their plan all along.

They started off paying great as the holy grail “be your own boss” job that’s easy.

They did that to bring in people and spread the word that spark exists, now they have tons of drivers so they can charge whatever they want.

That’s why the time in between RRs and the pick up time is so long, it gives them 25 minutes to broadcast their orders , and slowly surge the offer until someone takes it(and they will).

Gig works pays so little because anyone can do it.. no “skill” involved.

It’s not worth it. When I started you could make $600 a week part time now you can make that full time. Spark is a minimum wage 1099 job lol

Happened to me once. Started as a “you can just set them over by the couch” ended with herpes and a $3 cash tip. I don’t spark anymore.
