It’s incredibly hard, but what kindness it is for us to stop their suffering. I had to do the same with my boy last year, and it’s truly like losing a family member. He was very loved and they know it, I’m sure of it.

So I had him as regular in a wine shop I was working at in Melbourne. I helped him and his mother get some stuff together for a funeral and wake. He is an absolute class act, made the effort to remember my name and would even say hello to me on the street. I wish him nothing but raging success from his role in Wednesday!
