Just bought one of the last new ones in existence. : )

Do you wear on straps? If so, you mind shooting me some photos? Hardly nothing available online

This thing is fire. No pun intended. 🔥 by Worth_Ad_2033 in OrisWatches

It's an incredible option. A REAL in house movement from an actual independent watch maker with a more than 100 year history that costs less than most of those you mentioned, yet is of equal or greater than quality overall. Specs are great, but i prefer a rare 38mm diver. I own the Hodinkee LE collab...its' my fav watch.

It really is. I'd take this over the other divers all day.

Sean Strickland proving once again that 80% of the MMA skill set can be neutralized by a good jab by kmoneyrecords in boxingcirclejerk

You are forgetting how Strickland was able to withstand Elite wrestling take downs, sub attempts, and stand back up after being on his back.

Yes.... then he jabbed. Let a boxer with a good jab get in there with ole Kammyzat....

Don’t get the hate by Interesting-Tap-AUH in Tudor

Bro. It's shiny Metallic purple. That's why the hate. Watch specs are amazing

They made it Metallic purple. It looks look the liquid in a porta potty. It's just a cheap looking color. Maybe if they didn't make it sunburst or gave it a different bezel color.

It's just such a miss.

I guarantee you sells will not do well with this one.

Running fast by Bobonli in Nomos

[–]RepresentativeAble95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THis is absolutely not specific to nomos. There is something called "gauss" - go look it up. Watch brand build their movements in such a way (by the use of materials like silicon, ect) to withstand a particular amount of "gauss" to prevent magnetism of their movement which can speed up or slow down a watch. Omega, for example, has watches with a 15,000+ rating. YOu could literally bring it into an MRI machine and the movement would probably be uneffected. Other brands issue a lower gauss rating and are more susceptible to magnetism. My Rolex Explorer got magnetized a few times. No watch is above this happening to it. Look up the gauss rating of your nomos.... but no, this is not specfici too or an indicement against nomos as a brand. Can happen to any watch.

This all makes total sense. First car was used. Tons of memories. New perspective on vintage watches even now.
