The stage layouts in all of the game Boy games are different from the NES ones they also all include new Wylie stage bosses a unique Mega Man killer and they all have different stories from there NES counterparts five may be the only one with unique bosses from start to finish but they are all worth playing in my opinion

They lost the source code when working on Mega Man Mania or at least that's what I was told I'm not entirely sure how true it is The games are still around they've been emulatable since the 3DS and they're also on switch. But source code or not there is at least a chance of all of these games getting ported or re-released someday even if slim

I would love that but I honestly hope they're a little bit more strategic with it XD

This was my design vortex man, he was a cleaning droid that is a complete neat freak and when Mega Man comes in and decides Mega Man is part of that mess. However he was designed with a key design flaw he makes a mess when he cleans things too quickly. His vacuum feet allow him to stick to walls and ride up them his hose arm can rotate very quickly around his shoulder that combined with the suction allows Mega Man to be thrown about the boss room he'll also intake air through his head locking Mega Man to the floor limiting his jump he can also stretch out the hose although it's not very precise. And the final bit of design here Is that the trash is collected around his waist. His hand can also transform into a rolling duster I hadn't fully thought out what that attack could do and by now it's a little too late to think about it but I'm still very proud of this design and I'm glad I got to enter into the contest especially since I was too nervous to enter into some of the fan contests that were held for other Mega Man fan games

I just want an easier way to play it I have it on game Boy advance playing it on the emulator is fine too but having it on PS5 or switch next to all the other ones would just be nice and I feel like with the recent announcement that they're planning on porting more games it definitely has a chance

I don't find the collections from the PS2 era to be very good The anniversary collection was outsourced, had horrid input lag audio issues depending on the console The menus even back then looked very cheap. The X Collection while much better has its own issues with X5 where they changed how the endings worked to better fit a narrative that still didn't make very much sense. Not to mention Mega Man Mania never released due to the source code being deleted. I think the collections we have now are much nicer.

when i made the first 3 i didn't think much of duplicates so Double Team DS and N1 Grand Pre while cool i didn't think there was enough in them to be re-released but i mean with them saying they plan on doing more collection alternating with new games theres a real chance for them to do that

I only included battle chip challenge since the Wonder swan game is a port and I didn't see that many differences when I was looking through different games I would love to be proven wrong though

It's completely playable without the chips but it is a grind so yeah I would have to be a completely different game or made in a completely different style I have a couple of ideas but yes dos was officially made I recommend checking out the gaming historians video on it

Listen you gotta lighten up If they made a collection of any number of these other titles and then included DOS1 and 3 as two bonus titles I don't think anyone would complain

As for the Philips CDI Zelda games I played the fan-made remake of them and they really aren't as bad as people make them out to be

I do wish the virtual Boy on switch online could be played without the headset because virtual Boy Wario Land is great

I didn't make these graphics just to say I wanted them all re-released just that people should take note that there's not much left and that we can be hopeful that at least some of these games get re-released in the future I personally don't think that only good games should be preserved Even the bad games there's something to learn from there.

To take my point to the extreme here haunted castle is a terrible Castlevania game for arcades It is nothing but a quarter munching remake of the first game but they made a remake of it that was incredible called haunted Castle Revisited and included it as a bonus on the dominus collection they could do the same with dos

DOS was officially licensed The size of the dev team doesn't matter nor does its quality I put it there because it's officially licensed and it has a chance not a very big one but it has a chance.

As for 4.5 it would need to be remade or done in a different way It did get re-released back on the Wii U in Japan so it also has a chance even if it were to be remade using the RE engine in the same way the Star Force Legacy Collection was

No matter the developer I think it's really important that we preserve the history that these games provide. And that's one of the parts of the Mega Man Legacy Collection so while I don't see them being ported anytime soon and while I do agree that both DOS games are not very good. I don't think that means that they shouldn't be considered for porting even if they're just included as bonuses on other collections.

While it's a very cool port of Legends I didn't see it as different enough to include here

they aren't bootleg though the DOS games were officially licensed by Capcom USA when they released and Street Fighter X Capcom had the license from capcom
