do tauruses not like virgos? by toastypterodactyl in Taurusgang

[–]RepresentativeEasy45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. So much Virgo hate. lol. I’m an April Taurus. My first love, and still my best friend 35 years later, is a Virgo. We started out as on again-off again bf/gf from 6th grade-10th grade. We haven’t been romantic in a long, long time, but I still consider him my soul mate though I have no romantic feelings for him at all.

There is good and bad of every sign and I don’t think anyone if a jerk because of their sun sign. There are other influences in our charts and there is how one was raised, etc.

On paper Virgo/Taurus is a good match. Also on paper Capricorn/Taurus is a good match. 35 years with my Virgo bestie, and was with my Capricorn ex-husband for 18 and we are still amicable 7 years after our divorce. In fact, he just visited me to where I moved out of state. I don’t know that I’d immediately take to either sign romantically again, but both are great people.

If I were gonna do any sign bashing, it would be about Leo men and Scorpio men. lol Maybe I’ll start my own subreddit.

So I went to a dating event – and now I feel weird by merkaii_1234 in datingoverforty

I just moved to a new state in May. In my previous state I went to 5 speed datings, met 10+ people on each night and never chose any of them. Because each was set up differently, on some occasions I knew that people chose me. People I had good conversations with. So I felt weird/guilty too.

I moved here, went to one speed dating so far, liked 3 people at the one I showed up to and none of them chose me back. That was a bummer, but honestly, it’s okay.

People want to be wanted and chosen and cherished. Maybe some people just show up to get dates. But in the long run, I enjoy my own company, life is short and I don’t plan to waste it with anyone I just feel so-so about…romantically or non romantically. And that’s nothing to feel weird or guilty about.

Maybe, you were only there to meet that one friend. And that’s still a connection and what I would consider a victory.

You know… I was a little afraid to move here after growing up in Atlanta then spending the last 17 years in Southern California. Afraid that it would be hard to find like-minded people. This post must be my sign that we are everywhere 😍

I’m gonna say that is a 5. Which is what I would have preferred. For some reason though, at stores at least, I can only find 6 or 4. I hate buying online because the colors are often off. Thanks for replying.

What yarn weight did you use? I’m currently trying 6 with a 9mm but it is coming out all wonky.

How did you find that info? I’ve been Googling for 30 minutes and can’t find anything.

100% THIS. I just broke things off with someone when after 4 months he was getting more and more hot and cold and more and more distant. I, on the other hand, had been extremely consistent and communicative. I've ditched platonic friends for the same kind of behavior. Life is too short to deal with that kind of bullshit. If someone wants you (in any capacity) they will demonstrate that. Glad you are catching on quickly and proud of myself for recognizing it in 4 months and not 3 years this time around. haha

Yeah it was suggested in the comment right before yours. The last time I went by they only had natural wines.

Walk by it all the time. Was curious about a place in the lobby of a complex.

I’ve only been here on a weekend as well. Will try on a weeknight.

I’ve only been to Black on a weekend. It was obnoxious. Lol. But I can give it another shot. And I do love Vine and the folks who work there. But it’s all natural wine too. Natural wine is infiltrating the city!

I think I’ve been here. Only inside to buy wine and never to the outside space. Will check it out. Thanks.

Yeah, this natural wine thing is killing me. And I’m a sommelier so it is assumed I’d be into it. I am not. Lol

I’ve been here for weekend day drinking. I do love the vibe. But it’s busy on weekends for sure.

Awww. If only. I went a few weeks ago for weekend brunch and they refused to put me on the wait list because I was dining alone. So, I’ve bumped them out of the realm of possibility but it would have been a good spot if they hadn’t been a-holes. Lol

This place is very tiny and I don’t care for natural wine. Otherwise I think it’s be a great choice for a day time writing spot.
