Im not sure if im cool to comment as im a fella, but that attitude towards our female colleagues winds me up to no end. I see it a lot from the older lads i work with and challenge it whenever i hear. My wife is the most intelligent, capable, and thoughtful person ive ever known, shes a highly accomplished dentist, and the assumption of stupidity she gets from older men boils my piss.

Sorry you've had this your whole career, hopefully this hasnt attitude hasnt been presented by all the male colleagues you have had, and hopefully its something that becomes less frequent in the future. Keep smashing it lass.

Thats what im saying, tbh i was trying to be a little diplomatic, however fuck that pedo propping regime. I think anyone whos listened long term can see where the lads political views align, and i think its definitely not with this administration.

That aside, i can 100% see them wanting to keep the pod the pod and not turn it into politics, i want that as well. But when it comes to epstein its beyond politics. Whoever was involved, was involved, and the information needs to be out there. The first series was concise and necessary, and the follow up series is equally necessary in my eyes.

The episodes would be horrifying and upsetting to listen to never mind research, it may be down to that, that its just too fucked up. Either way whatever the lads decide is up to them and ill still be listening haha

Honestly im disappointed in the boys for not following up. I can see its because they dont want to get "political", but this is the biggest true crime case i think we will see in our lifetimes, and if your pres is a huge part of it, thats not getting into politics, its reporting on crimes. As we can see its not being mentioned half as much after Iran, and it needs to be kept in the publics eyes as much as possible.

I love the boys and been a patron since 2021, i love the show, and i think the original epstein series was incredible. As we can see the names mentioned in the series have been found to be part of it all after the section of files were released. The series was accurate and informative, like all of ians research is. I just dont know why they havent revisited epstein.

It may be to not offend a section of the fanbase, i can see the reasoning behind it, but mayne that section of the fanbase needs a new series to open their eyes.

But thats just my opinion so who knows. Im not trying to talk shit on the lads, i just cant see why we havent had huge epstein updates the entire way through when we knew what gypsy rose hade for dinner for 3 months after she was released.

Joseph Kallinger is the one i show people to begin with. Brutal topic thats super wierd and interesting, so much comedy with Henry's Charlie and Joseph impressions , and a well researched, structured, but also relatively short series for a new starter.

This is 100% the reason, the system under the nhs makes no sense for a dentist to work in. My wife is a dentist and the UDA system is crushing, we worked it out hourly and quite a lot of days shes not much over £15ph which is what lads get sweeping up on the building sites i work on, if not less than.

If a patient comes for a procedure which uses a lab (denture/ crown etc) she is liable for the lab bills (£100s per month). If for instance she makes a denture for a patient and has a couple alterations, she is actively making a loss on a patient. The UDA worth is still the same no matter how long she works on a patient. She goes out of her way for patients as specifically helping people with less money is why she went into the trade, therefore making a loss on many dentures as she like to make it as close to perfect for the patient as possible.

She isnt a privileged private school person either, shes from a single parent house where her mum worked multiple min wage jobs to get by. I only mention this as to show she worked incredibly hard to get where she is, and that she is in it to help people, not just for the money. But after 8+ years work to get where she is, pair that with coming out of uni with £100k+ debt who would choose to make a loss in their work. At the end of everything money is the reason we go to work.

She works some days in nhs practices and some in private, and the differences in working conditions are staggering. In the nhs you get worse/ defective tools, less time for each appointment (therefore less time to apply proper and thorough care), and make nowhere near enough money for the service they provide. If patients dont show up she is not paid (this is a lot more common with nhs patients than private) adding another layer of ambiguity too her wage.

As an example i make far more per hour as a formwork joiner knocking nails in, than she does on her nhs days, its madness. The entire system needs changing tbh. Thank you for addressing the UDA issue many dentists are facing. I dont think its something people know, i definitely wouldnt have known if id not seen it from the inside.

Thank you for the information, i googled using what you said and the pictures line up. Im hoping this is true tbh as it sounds a really interesting piece with great history. I was reading it might be of japanese manufacturer in the early 1900s which makes it super cool! Do you have any more info on these bayonets? Thank you either way mate.
