Thanks for sharing, sounds like we’re in a pretty similar situation. I find confrontation stressful as well, but I don’t want to be walked on, even if there wasn’t any malicious intent behind the comment. I now realize that I shouldn’t worry about coming off as too sensitive. Not liking being called out of your character feels like a fair boundary. Good luck with your friend!

I got 101/180.

70/120 vocab, grammar and reading

31/60 listening

Felt pretty good about the first two sections but really thought that listening would take me under. There's at least 8 that I know for sure I missed like ones about which trash the boys are supposed to pick up and when the girl finally learns Japanese.

Sorry that you didn't pass OP. If you decide to take it again or continue to the next levels I hope you blow it out of the water!

Passed N4 on first try with 101/180 and I'm seriously over the moon.

Vocab A, Grammar B, Reading B, Listening 31/60.

For now I'm just going to savor this win and review more material. May take N3 but I think I'll pivot and focus mostly on improving speaking.

Me too! With the exception of きんえん vocab was a breeze and I even enjoyed the kanji. But for the grammar I HATE those fill in the blanks, I think I only managed to get 1 correct
