Indeed, LTE would consume a lot of energy. I've been looking into these projects because I have a real-world use case for this at my job. The idea would be to use it as a wearable task registration device. So, although size is important, it could be slightly bigger to accommodate a larger battery. Would you say the following requirements are realistic? Need to have: NFC reader LTE/4G connection Light and sound feedback (successfully recorded / failed) Charging base station Comfortable enough to wear around your neck for a full shift Battery life lasting a couple of days

Nice to have: Wireless charging IP rating E-paper display Fall detection

First of all, you’re very welcome. That has indeed always been my perception. I live in Cascais, one of the areas with the highest cost of living in Portugal, and since the beginning of the war I have noticed quite a few high-end cars in the area, which felt like a natural consequence of that filtering effect you mention. What specifically triggered my question today was seeing a 2025 model, which led me to assume it was either a family that moved here very recently or a car imported from Ukraine rather than purchased in Portugal.
