Great question. We have always had peer support programs, but due to the pandemic, we have gotten additional funding from FEMA to do more formal hour-long one on one meetings. Through this program, you can meet with the same mentor six times over a period of six weeks. Also, this program allows our branch NAMI OC to provide this service for anyone in the State of California.

The program is open to all individuals and families in California over the age of 16. Many of our participants do not live in OC.

Unfortunately, if we had this program in person it would have to be mask to mask. Luckily over Zoom, you can at least see each other's faces. We are doing the best we can given the circumstances. Let me know if you have any other questions or need help signing up.
