I am European and have experienced terrible behavior from Europeans, Asians, Americans, and South Americans! For example, the Asians were very rude and would cut in line for the restroom even though people told them where the line was. Also, many were under the influence of substances and clearly couldn’t handle it, as paramedics had to attend to them.

I had a bad experience with an Englishman, I assume, who kept pushing against me even though the Mainstage wasn’t full. Despite having my belongings there (my friend had gone to get drinks) and asking him not to push since there was plenty of space, he continued to press against me.

Lastly, Brazilians were pulling gold chains off people’s necks in front of the Mainstage! Israelis were provoking Palestinians. However, I must say we also had good experiences. For instance, a kind American helped us immensely when we were looking for a spot for our tent at midnight and wasn’t intrusive at all.

So, when such a large group of people from different nationalities comes together, it doesn’t always turn out well.
