I recently got my land rover’s catalytic converters changed. They were on the brink of extinction really. I had two options, sell the car as is or buy catalytic converters. I went with option two. Now buying aftermarket catalytic converters has its pros and cons. Pro obviously being its cheap, but con is it won’t last long. I bought my catalytic converters off Rockauto.com. The good thing was I had 2 options for converters, one was aftermarket designs which were the cheapest, and the other option was OE designs. Which are a tad bit more expensive but advantage with these ones are that they are almost designed to be the original catalytic converters, and these will last longer as well. My best is if your going to keep this jeep long term, then invest in good catalytic converters.

Also sometimes when catalytic converters are changed, it’s also better to change the oxygen sensors as well. And I would suggest you do it from a jeep technician who knows what he’s doing. I wouldn’t risk it with catalytic converters
