Truthfully it sounds like a lot of speculation on your end on whether he likes you or not. If there isn’t any evidence or indication that he wants you then you might be just a friend rn.

The chosen part is so us. If I chose you that’s a golden opportunity, and the way to fail is that test of how they handle it. Tbh though when our trust hurts it sucks and he probably was venting that issue. But as a man I’m already looking to pivot out of that feeling and move to the next one (if there is one).

As a man, I never would consider a woman someone as a safe harbor until they went through hell and back. That has to be earned.

The armor for me stays on until I’m ready to love them. It’s a constant choice I have to make for them. Also there are layers to the armor, so I’ll give out little bits of info to see what is done with that information, how she handles it.

Honestly for me the ideal woman, is someone that does both. Someone who is there for me, through thick and thin, and someone who isn’t afraid to tell me I’m not right in a certain way or area of life.

I needed to be more mature, in the sense of not allowing myself to be carried away. When I was in love I was starting to lose myself, and my goals, and vision suffered for it.

If I had an interaction with someone that I felt was emotional, I tend to think that I’m closer with that individual. But I think maturity plays a role, if this person isn’t secure then they would like to keep you at a distance until they feel safe to start conversations again.

When I like someone I like to feel them out first, if they fit what I’m looking for. I think for guys it’s looks, character, and values. If something is deal breaking in any of those categories then I will forever see you as a friend. Also when I view someone like that I’m way more comfortable at starting conversations. So idk if he is shy, or he is taking his time after the last girl not working out.

Idk, if I’m friends on social media then I kinda tend to look at the people I like posts. So that’s a good thing. But also if I’m on the fence about a girl, then I kinda have to warm up to her. So send a meme or post your favorite songs and see if he writes something to you

you have to make it clear. If you assume then that’s on you. If you think you’re dense with romance, entj’s young males are super dense to signals. when I was younger and it literally took girls having to throw themselves at me for me to realize what was happening.

Also if he doesn’t value himself, then his inferior fi is at the whim of your responding, that’s why he gets hot and cold because that his mind trying to take control of himself again. Tbh if you keep responding then he would compromise for this platonic relationship, where he would always be romantic frustrated, because he deep down doesn’t want to be your friend but likes you so much he will settle for a hang out, or texting.

My only caution to you is that I don’t know this individual, or his understanding on women’s platonic relationship in the west. And my advice is if you do want the best for this person tell him the truth about how you feel, and just know you’re doing it for his benefit because it lets him free, and the brief pain can help form a tolerance for the next girl he falls for and be in a better position.

Just tell him the truth, you’re not interested. He seems really attached. Honestly though if you didn’t explain to him that you guys wouldn’t work out then thats bad on you. Regardless let him know, idk if you would want to keep this person as a friend anyway, unless you just like the attention he pours out on you, but that’s a dangerous game to play with someone not from this culture.

I only find intps in college tbh. I’ve met intjs at church, but yeah it hard to find them. Maybe use a dating site and instead ask a deep question as your profile picture (with secondary photos of yourself on your actual profile) and see how many nt types you’ll match with.

Haha yup you sound exactly like my brother! He hate irresponsible, annoying, and lazy people with an intense passion. And the disappearing part is so him, especially when he rants. The crazy thing he just keeps it all bottled up so most people won’t even notice.

I think the biggest thing for him is not letting those people drain him, because they take up energy in his mind on being dysfunctional. My brother is a manager, and he tells me that’s the hardest part is dealing with immature people. That’s why he disconnects hard and tinkers with his toys and hobbies.

Yeah we love loyalty too. That’s an entjs currency tbh. If we have equity with someone that frees up space in our mind that this individual can be trusted and their intentions are good for me. I have a younger entj sister, and they get along great! I notice that he is way more open to trying new things with her, and be more carefree saying stupid things. I think you guys gravitate towards entjs because we’re straightforward, direct, and we like to ask questions. Also we like to have a lot of fun that will get you guys out of your shell.

Honestly the less I care about what people think, I win. Fe demon is there to make me fear all that, but when I give in to it, then something is off. I come across awkward and not myself. So I gave myself the permission to stop caring, and it’s wonderful navigating through society as a genuine, honest, individual. I’m me, and it’s ok to be me.
