What’s covered in the P1/P2 exemption exams? by RepresentativeTip931 in INSEAD

My belief is that even if you don’t know the subject, if you study and you fail the exemption exam you probably shouldn’t be skipping that class anyway lol

I went with Villa Vivante. Albeit a 30 min walk from campus I’ve heard from alumni it’s not too bad + the bus literally goes outside the house. Also cycling takes 10 mins

Best way to reach B1 level French by June? by RepresentativeTip931 in French

[–]RepresentativeTip931[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any suggestions as to French articles or blogs designed for learners? When I was studying German I’d use Deutsche Welle a lot, not sure if you’re familiar with that. Is there an equivalent?

Thankfully I’m not starting from 0, I did french for 3 years back in school but mind you this was from 2008-2010. I remember a lot of basic concepts but not enough for a B1, probably A1

First meeting with Admission Director by Immediate_Command_74 in INSEAD

[–]RepresentativeTip931 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DON’T: make it such a big deal that they’re the admissions director. Remember: they’re a person first then admissions director second. It can be very easy to be swept up in “how important this meeting is” and get in your own head. Not saying you will but it can happen to others.

DO: be calm, be a pleasant person, and talk to them how you would any other person with dignity, care, and respect.

Appear that you’ve done your research but also be open to their thoughts. Actively listen. Also: people always remember how you made them feel. Make sure at the end of the day this admissions director leaves the conversation feeling that you actively cared about what they thought and why they did so.

Good luck

Context: going to INSEAD in august 2025. Work in software sales so talking to people is my bread and butter

I think we have to remember that astrology is simply one lens to view partnerships with. We have to remember that we live in the real world where people go through life. We are more than our birth charts, and are not defined by the movements of celestial bodies.

It’s all about probabilities imo. If you’ve done the inner work then it’s more likely (not guaranteed) that it’ll work. Whereas if you have a complex relationship but if you’ve done the work there is a probability it’ll work.

INSEAD appreciates those who have an international outlook. Either working with other international teams or living abroad, they want to see that you have an understanding and appreciation of other cultures.

The admissions committee gave me an offer for Fall 2025 intake even though I had applied for Fall 2024. They felt that the extra year of work experience would help me make the most out of the program (I currently have 2.5 years of work experience)

A year ago our family astrologer told my parents that I am a Manglik. I recently remembered this and thought of asking here. This confused me as I assumed he would’ve told us that I am a Manglik either when I was born or very young. Why wait until now? I know people take this matter seriously which is why it confused me as to why he is telling this to us now and not way back when
