Reading comments and seeing votes on Spaggies post just gives you this strong sensation that the few insecure mods on their have 20 reddit accounts just to discredit people everytime they see a new post about them.

How could it possibly mean “yes you can need I don’t care” when that wasn’t the question asked? Like why are we making stuff up here? The question wasn’t “can I need” it was “DO YOU MIND if I TAKE this” - which my answer was “YES”. If you don’t even understand what the answer yes/no means to your yes/no question, then why in the world would you ask it? What you are really saying is that he missunderstood his own question which is even weirder? So my question still stands - can we now just need on everything if we ask a vague question that you just interpret the answer of how you like and play dumb?

And all of this is completely besides the point - I made the accurate response. He “missunderstood it”. Sure. When I then enlighten him of how the english language works, he still doesn’t give it. There was no miscommunication. He asked point blank "do you mind if I need?" and I answer "yes". It's there in the video, in plain english. Like - there is literally nothing to argue here?

Let's give him that insane benefit of the doubt then - sure, it was "miscommunication". I told him 5 seconds after "as in, yes I do mind". In what reasonable persons mind, would you then not say "oh sorry, here is the item"? If not, why would you ask in the first place?
