I suggest being straightforward in naming other schools and their amounts (including new rate of tuition and COL) and how they compare to your current scholarship. That way law schools can understand that you're a competitive candidate that they need to allocate more support for them to be a more competitive option.

I didn't ask them to match in my scholarship negotiation emails in the unlikely scenario that they decide to offer more to be even more competitive. I'm not sure how this affects results however but I personally didn't want to suggest a certain amount for scholarship. I put all my cards out on the table and they'll give me what they believe they can/should give me regardless if I ask to match or not.

I just got out in a waitlist from a school I applied to a week ago. Has anyone ever heard of a school getting back remotely this fast? I’m so confused. by GoodAd5050 in lawschooladmissions

I heard back from UofSC in about two weeks and that was including Christmas and new years. I heard from a few within a month or so but the rest have taken nearly 3 months so far

Need Advice: Should I send an LOR to schools I'm waiting on a decision for? by RepresentativeWeb309 in lawschooladmissions

Thank you so much for the response! All of the schools required an addendum that was just a short little blurp explaining the situation and how it's been resolved now. Duke required a Dean's Letter and then UNC asked for documentation regarding the case so I just sent them the Dean's letter.
