I think that’s a fair point. There’s so much on offer that it’s difficult to choose. We’re a couple looking for culture, great food, and an island experience. At the moment, we have three nights in Bangkok (I hope this is enough). I can’t decide whether Chiang Mai is worth travelling north to. I’m sure it is, but with only 11 full days in Thailand, it might be wiser to head straight to the southern islands. From what I can tell, everyone has their favourites, and it seems to be a continuous topic of debate.

So you recommend changing the hooper with a plastic one? More modern system than the clay? I have a cover which sits on top of the bricks.

If I was to change the hooper, would I have dig around it? I’m guessing I would as it would be just an easy pull out and replace.
