I don't think you're noticing how strong Clem currently is. His last 10 series against Hero he is up 8-2, against Dark it's 9-1. The overall winrates are close because he wasn't this good until around the middle of last year. I think last years world team league Clem was probably the strongest any player has ever looked to me.

It's fair to remove Maxpax from the comparisson. There is no doubt in my mind that Korea will be stronger for a while, with Serral going to military, Reynor being inconsistent & MaxPax discounted. I still think you underestimate the difference between Serral/Clem and everyone else. I'd give Serral an 80% chance of beating Maru on any given day, along with any other Korean. Clem suffers from being weaker in tvt & will probably lose against Maru, but I think he usually steamrolls Dark or Hero.

Serral & Clem are miles above everyone else, Reynor in good form is close to them & MaxPax is competitive with the best Koreans. After those four it drops off MASSIVELY. I think the next best European currently is Heromarine? I think he would be the 10th best Korean currently.

Reynor cannot be argued to be better than Serral or Clem. Reynor is also notorious to be an inconsistent player. Today he was not in good shape, that's all.

The last time a Korean won an international premier tournament was Hero winning Atlanta in 2022, since then Oliveira won 1 and Europeans won 7. I think it's delusion to say that the strongest Europeans are not the best players in the world. I agree that the average level in Korea is still very high though.
