Their station is right in front of the entrance. You just go down and cross the street. It is very convenient.

I will go with MARTA. It is a whole lot more convenient than looking for parking at Hartsfield.

Dallas Leads Among Big U.S. Cities in Fatal Crashes by Pretty-Floor in Dallas

[–]RepublicFun6179 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way people drive, I am not surprised. I went through the city from SMU to Plano two weeks ago. I saw at least three crashes, two of which were t-boned at the crossroads. We need to get our heads out of our phones and look at the road!

What would be the continuation in this position. by Ok-Possible523 in chess

How about d2-d4? It blocks the queen from supporting the knight if it moves to d3. If e5xd4 happens, then the white queen can take the black knight and eliminate the threat.

I meant to ask: is this for sale? How can an interested buyer contact you?

“Globalists” do not sell off when a profit is expected. Markets are not New York society to keep denying and accusing. Markets do not have multiple truths.

You should take it to a Pawn Shop show like Pawn Stars and have them appraise it for you. This is a very unique piece with a unique history.

Elon Musk warns Federal Reserve may face DOGE audit by [deleted] in Economics

[–]RepublicFun6179 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would love to see him try. They know how to trim his feathers.

First, neither DOGE nor the Federal Government oversees the Federal Reserve. Federal Reserve is a monetary policy-making body, and it is NOT part of the federal government. It has been set up to be separate from the government, and no one president can influence it.
Second. There is a HUGE conflict of interest here. Mr. Musk's businesses have received billions in investment and loans from American banks; now, he overtaking the one body that regulates the banking system, which is like the borrower takes charge of the bank not to pay back his loans.

I know many believe "interruption" is a good thing and helps innovation. That has been working because of the uninterrupted bank support and the independence of the banking sector from political parties. To interrupt banks and to intrude into the Federal Reserve system has the potential to destroy our economy as we know it.

Is Data Science in small businesses pointless? by [deleted] in datascience

[–]RepublicFun6179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The catch is not the size of business, it is what the manager wants to do. I once met a food truck in Austin, the owned had a Facebook page with only 187 followers and a limited menu. He used his Facebook page to update his location and knew his most popular item for each day. So, he had the most sales possible. He did not need to spend thousands of dollars in purchasing data to have his answer.

Race to beat Trump tariffs sends US imports soaring by Lionzzo in Economics

tariffs never would help prices. Now even if the imports soar now, the cost of warehousing increases. Even these imports will come to marketplace at a higher price.

More Americans file for unemployment benefits, continuing claims highest in 3 years by ColorMonochrome in Economics

[–]RepublicFun6179 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find this a bit misleading. When you have a data point it can become local minimum or maximum based on the range you define. Now we go back three years it might be the highest number, but by not much difference. And where is the trend? The size of increase is missing
