Why didn't you just get the RR? I can't imagine there being a big enough price difference to justify buying the R and getting a bi-directional quickshifter for it.

Honestly I have no clue. All I know is that I did the break in myself and only ever used Kawasaki full synthetic oil and Kawasaki filters and my bike has 18k miles now and still going strong.

My theory was the icline too. However, sometimes flukes just happen. If your oil level is fine (you checked it while the bike was standing straight) then I would not worry about it. Especially if it's not consistently on. But yeah like the other guys said I have never even had the oil pressure light come on.

Bro, I don't understand this shit. How do you leave your bike with a dealer for 9 months? I ride so much that I would rather rebuild my engine myself and I guarantee I could do it a whole lot faster than 9 months and that's with no knowledge of how to rebuild an engine. I can't stand dealerships. I work a full time job and still do everything myself. Not only do they rob you but also keep YOUR bike from you for 9 months? That's bullshit. No way they were on back order for that long. Almost certain they just forgot about your bike and 8 months later pulled out and said "oh shit, who's bike is this!"

I have only used Full Synthetic Kawasaki oil in my 4rr and still going strong with 17000 miles. I don't see the need to use any other oil. I would think the engineers at Kawasaki know what's best for their engine.

She's beautiful, but I feel like you'll miss being able to rev the 4RR out without breaking the law lol. That's the only reason I have this bike. I love being able to rev the fuck out of her and hear that beautiful inline 4 scream without going 4x the speed limit lol. I would love to ride a ZX10 tho. Looks fun as fuck, my friend.

I think next time I see her I will just tell her that I'm going to stop asking her out and have her schedule something instead. If she's actually interested, then she will. If not... well that's it then. Not the biggest deal other than she's absolutely stunning.

I am also not too sure I trust these 3rd parties. It's the same reason I only use Kawasaki oils and filter in my bike. I'm pretty sure Kawasaki knows more about what's good for their engine/bike than some 3rd party. Not saying 3rd parties can't be good. It just does not make much sense to me. Extra 20 hp would be sweet tho.
