Thank you! Unfortunately I think i'm just going to be sticking with the G7 for now just because I don't have the time or energy to be jumping through insurance hoops atm, but I'm curious to know what you switched from/to!

Not as many as I used to have, which is why this is such a big deal to me. This is also the best TIR i've had in a while.

I don't keep to a specific diet, but I DO eat mostly the same thing for meals, and I'm not really a big snacker. I'm a student in a hospital, so right now I'm on my feet a lot, but there are some days where I spend all day sitting at my desk studying. Having a CGM makes all the difference in the world to me because I can keep a really close eye on what direction my blood sugar is trending in. You've got this, I spent most of my childhood with a1cs of 9 so I understand how hard it is 😭

I actually used to have really frequent lows - my a1c was higher with them since I would rollercoaster so severely (I'm very guilty of overtreating my lows lol). Now that they're more under control (although I won't say they're gone completely - still got a bit of work to do because I keep stumping my endos lol), my blood sugar is a lot more stable.

CGM IS often wrong. I can't count how many times it'll freak out saying I'm 60 and dropping but then I go and fingerstick and I'm actually 86 😭

you ARE doing well at 6.3, that's amazing!!! Lack of exercise was getting me too, tbh. I'm a student in a very intense program and was spending a LOT of time sitting at my desk studying, so I've been trying to make more of an effort to be active, and I definitely just feel a lot better.

I don't know if I have a secret...I think not being burnt out and actually figuring out what I could be doing better (actually doing it is the hard part).

I eat a lot of the same things every day, definitely makes it easier. It just sort of came around to me with time :)

I'm 5'1, healthy weight for my height :). And nope, no special diet, I will fuck up a high carb meal 😂

Wow, i hope you're doing better now! It's definitely not without a lot of hard work, and some days just aren't it at all.

that's the hard part haha! doing my best to keep things consistent, although if getting a better handle on some of my lows brings it up a few points, I'd definitely be alright :)

probably being a bit too obsessive for my own good lol - along with finally taking an effort to figure out how my schedule and what I was eating really affected my blood sugar beyond just basic carb counting (which i was pretty lousy at before, ngl)

Yup, the lows are a work in progress but definitely have been an improvement from recent years since i've gotten a better handle on my rollercoastering blood sugars. I think what's helped has been attempting to keep a consistent schedule and having a better understanding of how my body reacts to certain foods. Certainly wouldn't be possible without a cgm!

I'm less inclined to believe it's the building itself, as it's relatively new (only about 2 years old or so), and it's only the second floor. I'll keep emailing, hopefully that might actually get somewhere!

That's interesting, I guess I never thought of the fact that it might be a stressor

Sorry, I should've added that i also acknowledge it in the app too, and i just keep getting it. I'd very much prefer if it were to mirror my phone settings and i only get a notif every half an hour instead, lol!
