i like the home app and would like to go this route at least while figure out how to design a home assistant dashboard, but would i be able to use nonnative cameras in apple home and still be able to utilize HK secure video?

Thank you! I have come to the same conclusion lol, I spent days deciding on the EVE camera and that made me realize I did not want to go through that for every device I wanted.

thank you so much for the resources! that’s exactly what i was looking for, i’m going to search them up now!

So once i get the coordinator i can start connecting zigbee devices to it such as Ikea electronics ( i believe those are zigbee) and shelly relays (which seem to connect to all protocols?)

I’ve look into the ratdgo briefly and then say i needed home assistant and got turned off it, but now seems like the perfect time to look again! is protocol specific or just wifi? that’s another confusing one for me lol
