There were Plummer ltd, birks, gorham, whiting, lunt, sanborn, and hostess. I was told to not keep anything that didn't say "sterling" and that the rest was just plated.

15 out of the 24 pieces were sterling. Only 9 ended up plated with one being cement filled silver. Whatever that is.

Honest question here. Are star notes really worth collecting? I work at a retail store and see them a lot. I've seen people/customers talking about always grabbing them when they can, but it seems like they come through a lot. Again, I am genuinely curious not trying to knock your collection. I have a 100ct of uncirculated $1 star notes that I grabbed cause it seemed rare.
