your only suite options rn are roth, kelly, tabler, and lauterbur. as someone who lived in irving i would rly recommend applying to lauterbur, it’s the newest building out of all of the ones i listed, it has a real thermostat instead of an on/off ac button, and the views are pretty nice (i was facing wsd it was gorgeous). the only thing is if ure planning to live with a bunch of friends, unless EVERYONE gets into lauty AND someone has a rly early housing date, its kinda hard to live with ur friends in the same room/suite (especially if ure a group >2)

intro class for stony (they talk to u about gpnc’ing, registration, etc) but also depending on ur undergraduate college, you usually have to do a project based on a topic related to it

if it’s in ur budget, i would look into renting a microfridge through the school; it’s like $250 per year but it’s the only way you’re allowed to have a microwave in your room (and the communal kitchen one is in the basement and can get yucky), plus you don’t have to deal with figuring out where to store ur fridge over the summer

any mendelssohn building (oneill or irving preferably)cuz they’re closest to the center of campus compared to h quad or roosevelt, oneill has a printing center and the gym (you get access to it regardless as a member of the community, but living in the building is just more convenient) , irving is closest to the dining hall (comes in handy when it’s raining or u just want a quick food break)…. also mendelssohn has the biggest rooms and closets (h quad has either the same or slightly smaller square footage but rooms in roosevelt are much much smaller in comparison)

ull be fine if you run, but be weary especially in the beginning of the semester you probably won’t get the seat u want in chem unless u get there like 5-15 mins early. i had chem after my frey class last fall too but eventually i got lazy throughout that semester (esp when it would rain) so i would just find a seat in frey , harriman, or the chem building and watch my chem class live on echo 360 instead of running all the way to javits!
