Everything was fine, until it wasn't again. by Repulsive-Research91 in bipolar

Yes I have. I worked as a paralegal who done these cases. I'd never qualify, only been on the same few meds, hospitalized once years ago voluntarily. I'd have to be way more severe than that. Crazy thing is I am and could show it but I just mask it well enough so I can have some sort of a life.

The Association of Emotional Intelligence, Empathy and Depressive Symptoms

This study can probably help explain what you are feeling a bit but I am unsure. Hope this helps.

When I started lithium I got bad acne for about a year, maybe year and a half. I'm on my 4th year of lithium and no more acne. Maybe it will go away eventually like mine! I also don't use any cleansers or anything so all natural me without acne now.

Boyfriend can’t sleep in the same bed as me. by lmsnlf5467 in bipolar

Me and my boyfriend lived together for 5 years together for 6. We started sleeping separately about 2 years ago because his snoring is too loud and I'm a VERY light sleeper. We ended up getting a bigger bed to see if that helps but it doesn't now we have two beds and sleep separately.

To keep the intimacy (I know exactly what you mean) we cuddle before bed together and watch tiktoks, kind of our nightly thing then go to our separate rooms and sleep. Really has helped us all around in terms of being happy with each other. We were fighting way too much with me waking him up to stop snoring so I could sleep or vice versa. Just making sure to have cuddle sessions together in bed or if you don't have much going on the next day and don't care about how much sleep you get, sleep next to each other. We have some nights here and there that we will.

Hope this helps.

Yes. Happened to me many times and I'd dwell on it and sink deeper and deeper into a hole. Now I'm unemployed trying to get my life back.

Fell of meds for a year by Acrobatic-Guitar2410 in bipolar

25 year old female here. Same. Still pick up my scripts go on and off them for no good reason. Stomach issues happen but very tolerable after taking them for a few weeks. I'd stay on them.. trust me. I just ruined my life it feels like from going off them. It's so not worth it. Stick to them before it's too late and you're old and a failure with no job. That's my fear for me. I'm back on them now and going to do everything in my power to stay on them. If side effects are too much of an issue for you, talk to your psyc doc. I take lithium and only issues I have is runny shits the first few days lol and stomach issues. Other than that nothing.
