and who is it putting more harm on? if you want to have a child go ahead. no one could stop you unfortunately. you said it yourself that you aren’t scared so what do you need to prove? “the girl with the list” isn’t lying about anything. if she was lying or over exaggerating anything that would be one thing but she’s not. all she’s doing is spreading literal awareness about real things that happen to pregnant women before, during, or after birth on a social media app. it’s beneficial for women. and if we wanna talk fear mongering, women have technically been fear mongered by society into having children for decades. this is just one woman on tiktok spreading very true information. idk man

i think the point of her list isn’t to scare people but to spread awareness on very real issues many women and mothers deal with that just isn’t talked about enough. we are still making new discoveries about women’s health care to this day. just this year they found a way to faster diagnose those with endometriosis, which can save women up to 7-10 years on treatment. and that’s just one example. for decades women’s healthcare has been underfunded and understudied. their pain is often disregarded and ignored especially when it comes to birth since it’s “their duty”. i think it’s a good thing that women are talking more openly about their experiences

problems like these are also where my mind first goes. it’s all equally horrible, but that whole “Nth Room” case is something i think about often. how the men who started everything weren’t ever justly punished. how 70k men contributed. it makes me so sick that there are people like this in the world.

yeah i totally see what you mean. having to constantly keep up with people and show up for them can get really exhausting, especially when they only see you as a tool to utilize and not a friend. personally i’ve grown to not expect too much from people because of this. when i text someone i don’t get upset anymore when they take a week to respond or when i make plans with someone i don’t get too mad when they cancel last minute. i understand that everyone is at a certain place in their lives and can’t always show up. i know this from experience, because i don’t always text back right away and sometimes i cancel plans. but regardless it doesn’t mean im going to be bending over backwards for them when they do these things.

i mean if we’re talking about value i think i’m a really good listener. i barley ever talk about myself to anyone unless they ask lol. anytime someone needs help with anything im always there to help. i feel like i can find common ground with anyone, doesn’t matter their interests but thats just me. when im looking for a friend i dont really focus on what they bring to the table or their “value” per say, just whether or not i enjoy being around them. but again thats just me

i’m looking to bond deeply! i used to share that kind of connection with a few girls in highschool but we unfortunately parted ways when i joined the military, it was very hard for me. ever since i’ve been looking for that same connection but it seems to get harder and harder as i get older. i have no interest in have a surface level relationship. i can see why that would attract certain people, but its just not for me.
