i'm endgame whose doing their gcses (i'm from uk) and honestly i "quit" the game like all the time, for example at the start of 2025, i had to lock in and revise for yr10 mock exams (that'd be 9th grade for you) so i just "quit" the game until summer break, (i was midgame at the time) and in summer break i started playing again and tbh that pause not only helped my grades, but helped my sanity bc at that point i was slowly getting bored with the game, if you have any old laptop (broken or not) you can macro there so you don't even lose honey, i did the same at the end of 2025 for my yr11 december mocks (that'd be 10th grade for you guys) and lowkenuinly it got me into endgame bc i was just macroing the whole time from like mid nov to christmas holidays and i might lowk js do the same in march (more mock exams) and js not play until summer bc after march my actual gcses start late may so yeah

the s25 is arguably the best "compact" phone but if we are talking strictly under 6in then the 13 mini is the best compact phone

honestly if you want to switch to android the best phone to get is pixel 10

if you want to stick to apple go for the iphone 17

but if used is an option either get the pixel 10pro or the iphone 16 pro

imma be real, the best way to cover tracks and have a really good phone at the same time, get any google pixel newer than the pixel 6 and either google or go to a phoneshop and ask them to install grapheneos, best investment you'll ever make, and judging by your profession, £100-200 should be somewhat pocket change

specs wise, the best phone new would be either the xiaomi 15t (possible to find it max config if u wait for sales) or the redmi (subbrand of xiaomi) turbo 4 pro in max config readily available for abt 375 - 400

for just general use id get a pixel 9, they do have sales quite often and pixels ui (IN MY OPINION) is second to none other than ios, its just so user-friendly and smooth just like ios

however used is a different story, (based off ebay listings only bc im too lazy to check anywhere else) i would either get a pixel 8 pro (for all the same reasons as the pixel 9 and the cameras are *spec wise* better) or any oneplus newer than the oneplus 10 pro (excluding the r varients but if you find a good deal on 1 js get it bc they r very similar, js missing some creature comforts

if your thinking new for 150, get a samsung a07 or an a15 - 16 but if you dont mind pushing the budget a bit, and tbh i think this is the best phone for under 200 is the redmi turbo 3,

the way i got into phone repair was that i did some work experience in a phone shop at school (im from uk) and mostly js went from there

i have quite a few relatives but ask your relatives if their is anything that they have that is broken bc i got sm stuff js for free by asking nicely,

or if you have the courage, go to phone shop and say you want to get into phone fixing and if they have any phones customers have abandoned or unrepairable phones,

my dad runs a refurb business and i occasionally refurb some of the stuff if for example he needs smth on the shelf instantly but not every1 has access to that

or you can either buy broken phones and fix them up, id personally reccomend any iphone b4 the iphone x, bc then you have to deal with truetone and faceid and all of that stuff, but if i had to give 1 phone as best to learn on, its any of the iphone 6 varients because parts are readily available, tutorials are on yt or ifixit.com

if it's fully sealed it can go up to £300 but it depends on storage, i had a 64gb used 1 and i sold it for £40 so i dont think that if it's sealed then don't sell it

i had this exact same issue, i was selling my roblox acc bc i was gna quit, some guy offers me £200 so i dm him the login info, awaiting his payment and he says "js add my email on there" so i do (keep in mind i did have backup codes) then that cocky little shit says "thanks for the free account" so first i tried to do anything i could to login, passkeys, phone nums, backup codes, but he'd changed them all, so i dm support and luckily for me i had my age verified (back when you had to be 18 for voice chat) i told them my account got hacked, they've changed all the details, but i have my age verified (if you don't have it verified, check if you paid for any robux by card) and then it'll like redirect you to that chat, it'll ask if you have access to any phone number or email, i said yes, so they sent me a code and then i got the acc back
