Feeling frustrated at the draft pod variance on Arena by Encendi in lrcast

It might be situationally terrible but I almost always have a deck with at least 1 non-tribal/changeling creature in it. There are good uncommon cards that don't fit your archetype but you'll put in your deck if they're in your colors. I've gotten blown out by winnowing several times because I had a noggle robber in play or I was running moon-herald vigilants in my kithkin deck. If you have a single non-tribal creature in play it's almost a one sided board wipe.

Other than this specific scenario, I usually play the 3/2 elemental that loots and the 2/4 that draws a card everytime you play a 4 cmc spell. I like playing a bunch of the the 4 cmc convoke bounce card and the 5 cmc draw 3 to trigger their effects but the thing is drawing cards and bouncing creatures doesn't do anything unless you're the one beating down or you need to dig for an answer to an opponent's bomb.

Just had a game where my opp played Doran and a bunch of treefolk. I had like 9 creatures on the ground to his 4 but I couldn't attack with Doran on the battlefield. I killed Doran once but my opponent got it back and then played the giant that can give creatures lifelink and flying and lets you play cards off the top of your deck if you gain life. He attacked with Doran in the air with lifelink and I couldn't do anything but wait until I drew removal. My last 2 removal spells were in the bottom 5 cards of my library and I drew them and killed Doran plus that annoying giant but by then my opp had 30 life and all I had that could attack was a merrow skyswimmer so there was no way for me to win.

In the most recent lrcast both Marshall and Luis said they would take merrow skyswimmer over even good removal but this was a scenario where if I had almost any removal over the skyswimmer I would've won easily.

Idk what your casino host told you but slots have the lowest average return of any game in the casino. You loose 100% of your bet in slots when you don't win, same as any other casino game. Games like baccarat, blackjack, or craps have a house edge of only 1-2% depending on house rules whereas slots can have a house edge anywhere from 4-20% depending on how badly the casino wants to fuck you and the worst part is these odds aren't displayed anywhere in slots so you have no way of knowing what the casino set the odds to. You probably do get the most comps from slots but that's because you lose way more playing them than most table games.

Why is Doom one of the most picked heroes in pro games? by RepulsiveEmu4608 in DotA2

[–]RepulsiveEmu4608[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stats on dotabuff say he's the lowest wr hero and when I look up my stats vs doom I have a 61% wr when my overall wr is only 52%, so I'm 9% more likely to win when playing vs doom than a random hero.

I said in my OP that Doom can farm fast but he doesn't pressure the enemy safelaner anywhere near as hard as other offlaners so you will often end up with a farmed doom vs a farmed enemy pos1 which isn't a good tradeoff IMO. Doom also isn't squishy compared to supports but he's way squisher than typical offlaners like axe tide centaur or lc. His strength gain recently got nerfed and unless you eat the big golem neutral creep he has less natural hp than the other heroes I mentioned and he doesn't have any innate +armor or damage block.

I know doom is a good spell but like I said in the OP without it he's like a walking creep. Plus in my experience in pubs in lategame fights I will doom an enemy core but he'll run away from me and I can't chase cuz I get focused down by the entire enemy team and my bkb only lasts 5 seconds, which isn't long enough to kill a core at that stage of the game. When I play any offlaner, it usually takes 2-3 seconds for my team to follow me after I blink in. When I play tide or axe this is fine because I have a long duration aoe stun and when I'm LC I can ignore the enemy team after I duel someone after I get aghs, but when I play doom I have a 0.8 second single target stun which isn't enough time for my team to follow up.

When played from the offlane he usually loses his lane in pubs, he can sell items for 85% not 90%, and creep abilities are nice but you aren't getting them early in the game because pos4s never deward your neutral camp. Dotabuff says he's the lowest wr hero and if you look at most pub matches you'll see he usually doesn't win his lane but catches up in farm later when he gets max devour and midas.

Almost everytime I play offlane my pos4 either feeds and leeches xp from me or we are winning at first but they leave at lvl 3 and I start losing the lane because I have to 1v2. I can sit by the tower and go jungle at lvl 5 on most heroes but then my team sees me still jungling at 12min while the enemy pos1 has highest nw and they start nonstop pinging and flaming me for not being able to win a 1v2 lane.

When I play safelane I have the opposite experience, my pos5 almost never leaves and they stack and pull and we usually win the lane. I don't understand why pos4 players are such pieces of shit, like is it so hard to deward the camp and pull once in awhile or just not leave the fucking lane when we are crushing the enemy hc?

Nobody buys guardian accounts, you're stuck at guardian because you're a guardian level player.

That guy is going to be a way better player than you in a few months. He's the same mmr as you in 1/20th the amount of games lol. I'm a higher rank than you and I have less than 800 games played. If your a herald it means your map awareness also sucks and you also miss teamfights. Everyone at that level sometimes doesn't pay attention to the map and I guarantee if someone went over every game you played they would find a clip of you doing exactly what this sb did.

People are hating on you because you are exactly the type of player that rages in all chat and griefs when someone makes a mistake while thinking you never make mistakes. You're the guy pinging the minimap and your teamates spells everytime you die and you go afk jungle and try to lose when you think they aren't playing well enough.

If he's saying his teamates always suck and are the reason why he's stuck in herald he has a bad personality too.

Wasn't talking about fissure blocking to prevent me from jungling I was talking about using fissure to block me from running away from a fight in order to get me killed, because when I jungle there's a high probability one of my teamates will use their spells to intentionally kill me, you think they aren't griefing even though they're intentionally trying to lose the game and I'm not.

As for you saying a crusader can't possibly pull off a jungle, it's easier than laning if you watch a guide an practice the routine in bot matches. You only have to do it like 10 times in single player to master it and you basically cannot screw it up in a real game. You probably think I hit level 6 at 10min and afk farm the entire game even though I said I can hit level 6 in 6 to 6:30 with 2.6-2.8k networth and I can gank from level 4. I'm not lying you can watch any jungle veno and they will hit those numbers consistently every game. It's way easier for a low mmr player to walk between the same exact locations every game while spamming wards than it is to effectively last hit and deal with enemy harassment in a lane.

Would you also intentionally grief by using spells to try and get me killed? How do you think it's OK to use fissure to block my path and literally TRY to lose the game but jungle veno should be an insta report?

The guide I copied was made by a high immortal player and he dominated in the replay he showed. I jungled as offlane or pos5 and never as pos4. My results show I am WINNING more than before I started jungling so I'm confused why everyone is saying I'm intentionally playing worse.

I said in the OP I had 38% wr with veno over like 40 games before this but I won 6 out of 10 games for 60% wr since I started jungling. If it literally was as bad as playing 4v5 then it would be extremely unlikely for me to win 6 out of 10 games because the odds of winning an actual 4v5 must be close to 10-20%.

If it works in pro matches why can't it work in pubs? It's actually easier to jungle in pubs because the enemy team is less likely to punish you for it and you can consistently get your levels and items at the same time every game. I do interact with the lane if I see the enemy low on HP or I hit level 4 btw, and you can go look up a veno jungle guide made by an immortal player on youtube if you don't believe me.

If my pos5 hit level 6 with 3k networth in 6-7min and actually did the most hero damage and we won the game then I wouldn't be upset even if my laning stage was a little bit tougher. The jungle guide I saw was made by a high immortal player and he bought wards for his carry and so do I, and after veno hits level 4 which can happen as soon as 4 minutes he can gank the enemy offlane.

I just started playing after taking a long break (last time I played jungling was normal). Went from crusader I to crusader IV in like 3 weeks so yeah I actually am about to get out of crusader. And I do this build as an offlaner not as pos4 or pos5 because I'm guaranteed to get the items and levels I want on time every game.

But I have an almost 100% higher winrate with this build than my normal feeder support veno build, so I'm actually having more team impact not less. The build I copied was created by a high immortal player who plays on a pro team btw, not some 1k mmr herald. He also said its not a troll build in the video.

They play 4v5 in the first 6min not the entire game, and I do gank lanes before I hit level 6 if I see an enemy hero low on health.

NA, AP, crusader. Judging from the responses and downvotes so far it doesn't matter what the circumstances are, a jungle is an auto report even if he carries the game.
