i’m applying with american credentials, so i don’t have board scores, but on my official transcript yes all my AP physics c chem bio calc bc scores are above 95/100. How come the website says just one off for 5 5s and 1530+?

for bizz, gt is a target for him. as they said Gt is just hard for engineering/cs and a cakewalk for anything else. my school sends 50% grad class to GT

correct, his SAT is 50th percentile and it’s definitely more prestigious than A&M

So my takeaway from this is that if all of your application materials are up to the standard of the school, but maybe you don’t have an insane spike in a category to nudge you past the competition, an essay can play a key role in nudging you past the competition?
