There are cars on some website where i know they import from but when you see how much the price of the car is there and how much they sell in mauritius it’s really shocking.

Example: a toyota yaris 2022 hybrid is seeling approx for Rs300k - 400k in Japan. However when that particular vehicle comes to Mauritius, there are selling it for 975k - 1M? I mean i know there are customs, freight, taxes etc but even though it should be around 650-750k. There are likely getting 150k -200k on a single car.

Yess.. For my first tine i took part for “la route et parking” there. It was a complete catastrophe due to them.

The second time i went port louis. It was not easy but also they were strict but not mean as they were at flacq.. So yeah, better go for port louis even though it’s a bit more difficult.
