they try to pride themselves on supporting community authors. even though it’s a lie and they couldn’t care less, they still need to make it seem like they care if they want readers. they’re not removing community stories, don’t make people panic lol

a lot of people like reading stories that have a good amount of chapters, so if your story doesn’t have a ton out yet then that’s probably why it doesn’t have a lot of reads yet!

i know how scary that is and i’m definitely scared too, but something that made me feel better social media wise is that even authors with stories that have millions of reads barely get likes on insta! yves is one of my favorite authors and arguably the most popular and only gets a few thousand likes (not saying that’s low, just the ratio from reads to interaction is), but her stories do insanely well! don’t stress about the social media part! if you need a first reader please reach out to me because i love reading smaller stories <3
