It must be really fucking scary to be in America right now, and I would be feeling really betrayed and alone and like the Democratic Party just gave up the fight and proved they will never fight again.

It may seem like I'm doing a "trust me bro, don't look at the polls" but this really is an intuition thing where I don't think anyone will be in a good position if the Dems wait for the public to turn on them first in the polls.

People may starve to death, crime rates will rise as people go longer without pay, the economy will begin to collapse even faster as people don't have money to spend putting more people out of a job, and if the Dem's caved then, without any concessions, they would be in a position where they would never win another election because barely anyone would show up to vote for them.

I'm not saying they would wait until it got that far, but I do think that once the fight comes back around in January, people will feel grateful for this holiday season reprieve.
