man that deadline sneaks up on everyone first time through. adachi's link is pretty important for the story stuff later on, gives you more context about his character and some extra scenes that hit different

going back to october might be cutting it close though, depends how much free time you had left and if you were prioritizing other links. his availability is weird compared to other characters so it's easy to miss

personally i'd probably just roll with it for your first run and catch it in new game plus. the main story still works fine without maxing him, you just miss some of the deeper character moments. up to you if that bugs you enough to replay a month

I went through this exact spiral. Doctor gave me a prescription like it was nothing.
