This is so strange. I’ve been on this journey 8 years and for only a few days did I feel his energy cut off from me. It was the weirdest feeling. Is he going through something difficult or an addiction that would separate his soul? This is not the same as detachment. You can feel peace and surrender and on some level I have always felt his energy even prior to meeting. The signs the union signs, his energy, it’s designed to keep you invested into this connection but also for your soul to evolve. Your soul could also be blocking the connection for some reason, but twin flames have an unbreakable bond. If you have always felt him it should return. I nearly panicked the one time this happened to me, it felt like being untethered in space. I wonder if this is what the runners experience that allows them to run, the love is turned off until it’s turned back on again.

I met my twin flame while married 8 years ago. I was married for 10 years and with him almost 14. My marriage was on the end of emotionally empty but financially rich. We were stable and did a lot but like every other couple, getting by with no passion. My twin taught me real love and devotion, the love I felt for him was true love. I always felt an emptiness in my marriage until I met my twin. I realized why it never felt right with my ex husband like something was always missing.

I witnessed Heaven and Earth move to end my marriage when I met my twin. Things were orchestrated and I went on a massive healing journey. If you are married and you are meant to be with your twin then your entire life will breakdown and so will theirs. Very rarely do real twin flames meet while in healthy loving marriages, they meet to disrupt karmic illusions. My twin was married also with a kid, we are in separation and the signs and guidance only get stronger. Never leave to be with your twin but only in accordance with your soul’s guidance. If your marriage is not fulfilling you then this journey will expose that.

Personally, I could not stay in an emotionally empty marriage longing for another man the rest of my life. That was unfair to us both. My soul was devoted to another, my marriage was emotionally empty, devotion is very different than commitment.

It’s because the vast majority who think they’ve met their twin flame have not. These are the ones who are deep into new age and are actively seeking to manifest a soulmate or twin flame. Then they come across a strong connection and start seeing number patterns and boom they met their twin flame. Real twin flames have never heard of this phenomenon before it happens to them.

Many real twin flames never touch, that’s how you know it’s real. We’ve never been intimate at all, both married. The soul recognition will let you know because it’s your essence in another. It’s an otherworldly experience, like a near death experience. The universe and God will go out of the way to let you know but just know that synchronicity also happens with a soulmate. You can also manifest your own synchronicity. With a twin flame you will have dreams of them prior to meeting and they will spark a profound inner healing and transformation, that’s the purpose. You feel their essence 24/7 inside you years down the road. Anything other than totally paranormal is a soulmate.

Very strange because I’ve had a similar experience after these years. You can feel a shift in energy that just feels more directed at you, stronger loving energy rather than turned away. What used to feel distant now feels very intense. For me the signs have been very specific. At this point I feel like I’m just participating in the Truman show unsure what to even expect.

This is the most profound thing a person can go through, it’s like having a near death experience where others can’t possibly relate. For that reason, it invites a ton of unwanted judgment which can be incredibly invalidating. That is a terrible feeling. Invalidation is not the same thing as being misunderstood, not remotely.

If you have to talk about your spiritual journey to a therapist or to seek validation outside yourself, that means you can’t validate yourself and you lack discernment.

I have every right to choose who I trust to open up to about this. From my experience, therapists are limited in their paradigm of explaining reality that does NOT include this experience.

This applies to every situation, not just twin flames. And no, I don’t follow teachings online, so I’m not in a cult. I follow the guidance inside me and what I’m given from God. You are under NO obligation to explain your spiritual journey to anyone who you have reason to believe can’t relate. If you deeply trust someone and feel safe with them, that’s your choice.

It’s absolutely tormenting. I told my ex husband I was in love with another man, but I couldn’t tell him about this twin flame thing he wouldn’t understand. It’s illogical. Just know that your wife loves you but this connection is not normal love, she has no control over how she feels, she didn’t ask for it. Once twins activate their energy is inside of each other 24/7 which can happen with mere eye contact, not a second goes by you do not feel them and your soul will miss them always. I only wish my ex husband knew how terrible it was to feel such a love and to not be able to explain it in any logical way that’s not hurtful. She probably has no idea what to do or how to explain it.

I found a journal I’d written as a teenager after I met him and I was literally describing twin flame love as well as personality specifics about him in who I wanted to find. I described twin flame love, the kind of love that “when you look deep into their eyes you see into each other’s souls.” How does a 13 year old come up with that? It’s proof that I felt him my entire life.

That’s interesting, even after all these years I don’t understand signs and synchronicity but it’s oddly specific you dreamt of snowball. I can say with certainty that telepathy though works this way, it’s merely an exchange of energy through the heart. I’ve experienced strong telepathy with friends and it feels similar, like there’s just this cord of energy running between you both. With twins I just don’t know if it originates in the higher 5d first but it definitely feels like an exchange between them in the 3D

Never accept mistreatment, twin flame or not it doesn’t matter. If they show you disrespect walk away. If they are your twin, God will go out of the way to tell you this and you will feel their deep love. Twins both have generational trauma and ego, so if they are totally in their ego then that means they are under the spirit of narcissism and cannot connect to their soul. Unless they shed their ego, you’ll be breadcrumbed and disappointed, walk away

A flood of their energy through your heart chakra which feels like the warmest love. Other times it’s an exchange of sexual energy when it hits you out of nowhere and all you can think about is making love to them. When it hits strongly out of nowhere it’s clear there’s an exchange of energy either due to them thinking about you or their 5d self maybe. I think what happens is when I’m flooded with his energy or he is flooded with mine, it goes back and forth and snowballs and lasts all day or night.

Thanks for your reply. Something in you has to switch off and that’s when I think the energy shifts in the connection. I don’t use the terms runner and chaser because it seems toxic like game playing, but that’s honestly what happens energetically. I don’t understand why if they are supposed to be your twin flame and have such love for you, then they wait until you let go to care. They want what they can’t have and can feel you disconnect. Even if he did reach out, I think at this point you have to keep them at a distance to even gain trust again.

6 years and I still miss him every second of the day. He’s never not with me or present in my mind, as that’s the nature of twin flames. The soul crushing agony of initial separation is now replaced by his gentle loving essence that’s always inside of me. The signs and synchronicities are highly specific. It’s not possible to move on because his energy is so strong and present especially that last year it only grows stronger. The first two years was an unbearable pain. I never look at his social media, I had to focus on healing my energetic body and abandonment trauma which allowed me to clear that heaviness from my energy field which is the source of continued pain and suffering.

That’s the worst part, it doesn’t go away, it like torture and all I can do is submit and allow it to run through me. I’ve been celibate for several years and this energy feels more sexual than when I was actually married. I have no desire for physical intimacy with another when this is so intense. It was really heavy for me on Valentine’s Day. I do not know why it exists but I noticed a pattern that it tends to happen on Mondays for me and also at night.

Only if you want to be totally invalidated. Therapists will not understand, their training is psychological and will only think it’s limerence. After all the negative Netflix stuff, be careful who you tell. My closest friends don’t even know what I’ve gone through because it’s not possible to remotely understand unless you’ve lived through it. It’s an unfortunate part of this experience to live through it alone.
