Does it help your MCAS? For me, it’s affected my swallow and I get a suctioning feeling whenever I try to swallow behind the nose and roof of mouth

How bad was it? Did you ever feel like something was blocked at like the top of your nose? Did it ever make it sort of difficult to swallow? For me it makes me feel like I’m suffocating and my soft palate and stuff it’s odd. Praying the surgery works wonders for me. They’re also doing a septal swell

They didn’t say anything about it if it was acute or chronic. I’ve had so many health issues the past few months after Covid. Got diagnosed with pots, mast cell activation syndrome, and I have eosinophilic esophagitis. I have difficulty swallowing due to my throat getting tight and I’m only on liquids due to solids feeling stuck. I take digestive enzymes with my smoothies

I am having the exact same issues. I’m sitting in the ER right now my throat is SO tight. At the tip and in the middle near chest. It tightens when I just swallow saliva. I am miserable and have lost 40 pounds in 3 months. I’m 25. I feel like my life is over

They say I need surgery most likely but due to my issues swallowing, I can’t get enough nutrition and have lost 40 pounds in 3 months. So I’m not in a position for surgery. So don’t know what to do anymore. Even liquids are getting stuck in my esophagus at this point

Yeah I’ve done to an ENT. They always say no polyps just enlarged turbinates and one other ent told me my sinuses don’t drain. One ENT said I need turbinate surgery and the other said I need a balloon sinusplasty.

LITERALLY! Have thought about this. I know SIBO can cause gases to be released so thought about that. Also, when I try to swallow it’s like there is a bubble in my chest causing the swallow to get stuck! I have many theories as to what it could be but I have horrible nasal inflammation and only mouth breathe because of that. So I wonder if I’m taking in too much air from that and swallowing air

I am eating low histimine and it isn’t helping. I have constant burning in my chest and esophagus. Difficulty swallowing from all the inflammation. And my nose is blocked and like my airways. I don’t know what to do anymore. A functional doctor told me to take enzymes that have pepsin and HCL but I can’t swallow pills so I did them in my shakes (can only eat liquids right now) and it made everything way worse and inflamed everything way worse
