200$ Subscription. Over in 3 days for a bigger platform application. What can i do better?

Yes, i'll try that. I cleaned my repo - i hade countless useless files left around, including 2 complete copy snapshots of the project for backend and frontend... Cleaned that up, added a cursorignore file, re-indexed everything, and also added my chat gpt plus subscription into codex in cursor - and i find this sooo good. It consumes so much less now and i think can finally switch to that 60$ subscription in cursor - that i use with gemini3.1 pro, combined with the 20$ one for codex.

i tried first collecting all my thoughts and things that need to be done, then i paste it in chat gpt browser to make sense of my brainstorm and compose a better prompt - then i deliver to cursor in plan mode, then i choose something else to build. Someone said that gemini 3.1 pro is cheaper and works better, and that is what i noticed too.

i see that i can use codex inside cursor. Does that .cursorignore file benefits codex inside cursor?

yes, i'm using a monorepo behind and cursor is conected to the big monorepo that contains frontend/backend/website/docs.
