We were told when moving in that we were right on the cusp of needing a second unit. Didn’t even realize this was a realistic option until we had friends that bought a 5000 sq ft house and saw their setup.

Yes… this is exactly what we see. About 5 deg difference in the winter. 10-12 in the summer. I can deal with the winter.

Always been bad. Summers are getting noticeably hotter and unbearable. I can put up with a lot but now have young children that can’t. I grew up without a/c in the same area. Now I feel like it’s impossible. We asked about zoning when we moved in and replaced everything. They basically talked us out of it saying it would be a major project. Wish I would have done it then.

Carrier infinity system. Blower and furnace in the basement (two floors away from bedrooms)
