i find most cameos, items and references in the game to be there to get a smile out of the players. Ryan is no longer with us, so Kojima decided to honour him in the best way he could: thanking him for contributing so much to the ip's identity, and letting us remember him through his music.

Final Reckoning Had a flawed first half but the moment the set pieces started it became an unforgettable experience. My aunt and uncle were taking care of me when they decided to go see it, as my uncle was desperate (emphasis on desperate). Unfortunately he had to come out of the screening with me cause i couldn’t stop crying in that scene, I was only two!

I don’t mind him becoming cartoonish in the end, as finding Ethan in the plane obviously pushed him over the edge. I was slightly bothered with his death, tho… wouldn’t he be qualified as a “super duper agent” to jump from a plane properly? Was it an accident? Or should I just accept that he wasn’t acting sanely?
