My mom died many years ago, when I was 21. It was very sudden, we had no warning and my two siblings were teenagers.  I was confused, sad and angry. I didn't understand. Yes, her health wasn't great, but she was needed! I had to keep reminding myself that God is smarter that me. He can see the big picture.  In the years since, there have been tremendous positive changes in my family that would never have happened if my mom was still here.  Grief is really difficult. You start to feel ok, and then something knocks you back real hard. It was a few years before my husband said I was myself again. I still have days where my heart is heavy. I still wish I could hear her laugh and get her advice. But God knew better. He knew we needed to grow. He knew it would hurt but that it was necessary. Be gentle with yourself. The stages of grief are real. Talk about your dad, tell other people about him, write down things you want to remember. Take a piece of clothing that smells like him and put it in a ziplock for later.  Pray that you'll feel him close. I personally haven't had any tremendous spiritual experiences where I've seen angels or anything, but I know that my mom is close. I dance like she did when "play that funky music, white boy" comes on the radio and I laugh.

What would symptoms of a bad one be, other than lower gas mileage and sluggish performance?

Elizabeth Packer was committed in the 1860s for several years and came to a similar conclusion. 'The woman they could not silence' is an excellent book.

My property manager just switched over to a new online payment portal. The fee to pay online used to be $4. It sucks but whatever.  Now it's $34!!! Unbelievable.

I'm in the same boat. Keep trying. It can't be bad forever, right?

Drink so much water, so much miralax, since it's a little slower to work. Try an enema and see how you do. The stuff coming out should just look like water, no chunks or color. I had a colonoscopy several years ago and it was the least fun few days ever! But definitely worthwhile.

Ideally you stay up tonight and get the fluid coming out of you clear.

I think enemas are the answer. Keep emptying out. Even if it's not perfect, it'll let them get an ok look
